LomiLomi/ ManaLomi (TM) TrainingEliza began training in the Hawaiian healing art of Lomilomi under Kumu Kapua Tyler in 2005 in Kahului, Maui. She studied under the ManaLomi (TM) system of Hawaiian Healing studies, as taught by founder Dr. Maka'ala Yeats, DC. The ManaLomi teachings are rooted in the teachings of Auntie Margaret Machado of Kealakekua, HI, as well as other Hawaiian Elders and healers. Upon completing her studies of ManaLomi levels 1-3, including muscle work, soft tissue work, joint mobilization for healing, and Hawaiian hot stone massage, Eliza furthered her studies with direct mentorship under her teachers.
After years of training and attaining her massage license from the State of Hawaii, Eliza shares her passion for this ancient healing art in Burlington, Vermont. |
